The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The given line graph illustrate the information regarding the proportion of enquiries in the form of in person, by letter/email and by telephone received by tourist information center over the six months period in 2011.
It can be clearly seen that, individual enquire are quite popular and tourist information office received the highest number of enquire through this mode of communication than the others three mentioned categories.
As a matter of fact, in January enquire by customer using telephone was 1500, by letter/email complain was about just under 800 whereas individual complain was just above 400. Similarly, the mode of telephone enquire decline by 500 in March and there was a gradual increased in the proportion of making enquire by using the same mode of communication up to 1600 at the end of June. On the other hand, popularity of using email and letter as a mode of enquire was gradually declined up to March and it had decreased by half at the end of the period. Individual enquire on the other hand showed an upward trend, overtaking that of letter/email in between February and March and that of telephone in the second half of march it had surged up to a peak at 1900 in June.
