In 2011, there are less than 6500 shops were closed then reach a peak after two years at more than 7000. The figure became the lowest at about 600 stores were closed then increased significantly to tiny higher point at 5000. In addition, the number of places fluctuated slightly in the last two years of the terms.
The figure for the openings was numerous higher than the closures at 8500 in the first year of the time while it was decline sharply to 4000 locations in the next year. The highest number was recorded in 2014 with more than 6000 stores were announced. In the next three years, the number of shops almost were not changed while it reached the lowest at 3000 in 2018.
Overall, there several fluctuations in the trend of announcements and closures of shops throughout eight years.
