The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.
The given graph describes how many visitors went to Caribbean Island over the course of 8 years, starting from 2010.
Overall, it is readily obvious that the total number of tourists witnessed an upward trend throughout the period. It is also apparent that staying on cruise ships was more welcomed than on island in the last 2 years of the surveyed period while the reverse was true in the previous years.
In 2010, there were 1 million people visiting Caribbean. This figure increased significantly from its original number to 3.5 million 8 years later. A roughly similar trend was seen in the number of visitors staying on the cruise ships, where it started at around 0.25 million at the beginning, followed by a slight drop in 2012 before going up steadily to 2 million for the rest of the time frame.
About 0.75 million visitors stayed on island in 2010. This number remained stable in 1 year and then reached the peak of 1.5 million in 2013. After that, there was generally unchanged in the volume of people except for a small decline in 2016.
