The picture given illustrates the data of tourists on an island in the Caribbean region staying on cruise ships, on an island, and in total in each year from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, the total number of visitors increased significantly, as well as two ways of staying while coming to the island.
As can be seen from the graph, in 2010, the data of tourists was a million people in sum, consisted of three-fourths visitors living on island and one-fourth of them opted to stay on cruise ships. In 2017, the number of visitors rose dramatically to 3,5 million in total, 2 million and 1,5 million choices for staying on boats and on land respectively.
During the years 2010 and 2017, the number of travelers had witnessed a fluctuation. For those who stay on land, there were no changes in the years 2010 and 2017 at 750 thousand people, and two years from the year 2013 at 1,5 million. While with the visitors staying on boats, the figure showed the fluctuation from 2010 to 2012, but onwards, the simulated line rose stably and reached the peak at 2 million in the end.
