The bar chart gives data for how many proportions of university graduates having other nationalities changed in 8 Canadian provinces.
Overall, it is noticeable that there was an upward trend among most of all provinces, except Alberta. In addition, British Columbia is the province which had the highest growth rate in the period given.
Looking at the graph, Alberta had the lowest percentage of international graduate numbers among the first 4 provinces, about 5.8 percent, in 2001. In the same year, the proportion of New Brunswick was higher than the remaining 3 provinces, and higher than the lowest about 1.2 percent. Over a 6-year period, New Brunswick also reached the highest levels in 8 provinces, which was roughly 11.5 percent.
On the other hand, among the 4 residual provinces (Ontario, Newfoundland & Labrador, Manitoba, and British Columbia), the one getting the lowest percent was Ontario, almost 3.2 percent in 2001 and 6 percent in 2006. Manitoba and Newfoundland & Labrador nearly reached the same levels in both 2001 and 2006, about 3.5 in 2001 and approximately 6.8 in 2006. In British Columbia, there was nearly 3.6 percent in 2001 and 10.5 percent in 2006. It was the one having the highest rates out of the last 4 provinces.
