This graph illustrates the percentages of some accessories usage in homes in the UK between 1996 and 2002. The accessories include CD player, Mobile phone, Home computer, and Internet access. It can be clearly seen that all usage have a upward trend in the period of time and CD player and Internet access have the most and least usage respectively.
The using of Internet access had a slight growth, approximately, from 10% in 1998 to 45% in 2002. In 1996 the using of Mobile phone was about 20% and this amount increased gradually until 1999 to well over 40% at which the figure had a plateau by 2000. After that it increased swiftly to 70% by 2002. In 1996 the using of Home computer was about 30% and it rose moderately to 55% by 2002. By contrast a bit after 1998 the using of Mobile phone was more than the using of Home computer. In 1996 the usage of CD player was 60% and it went up reasonably to just over 80% by 2002.
In conclusion, CD player and Internet access had the most and least usage respectively and a bit after 1998 the using of Mobile phone was bigger than the using of Home computer.
