The given line graph provides information from the research into the population of three distinguish county in the state of Oregon over a sixty-year period between 1940 and 2000.

Overall, according to the data, Washington prevailed in the number of citizens while the other counterparts followed a similar pattern.

To be specific, in 1940, Washington’s population was approximately 75 thousand people. This figure gradually increased to more than 120 thousand people after 30 year. after witnessing a dramatic upsurge, there were nearly 255 thousand residents lived in the county in the end of twentieth century.

Turning to the remaining counterparts, both Yamhill’s population and Columbia’s population experienced insignificant rises. The former rose by about 15 thousand citizens while the latter rose for just more than 7 thousand of people. In the second half of the period, both of these categories had their figures doubled. Despite of having these fluctuations, two counties had a roughly difference in their population.
