The line chart illustrates how many commodities delivered using four various transport in the United Kingdom from 1974 to 2002. Overall, the most popular goods transport during reported year was road, while the least used transport modes was pipeline.
Moving to the detail, the highest number of commodities transported during the initial year was using road (70 millions of tonnes). The figure rose gradually in the following years, to reach the highest number at the end of period (97 million tonnes). There were two varieties of goods transport (water and railroad) showed similar trend (approximately 40 millions of tonnes) in 1974. In contrast, the smallest number of goods was transported using pipeline (around 5 millions of tonnes).
