The graph below illustrates changes of the prize for fruits, vegetables, sugar and sweets, carbonated drinks from 1978 to 2009. It is clearly that from 1978 until 1985 the amount of 4 materials have some fluctuations and almost equally same.
The next, fresh fruits and vegetables take the lead because they started from around 52 point and then reached the peak at approximately 325 point in 2007, and slips back slightly to around 310 point in 2009. Consumer-price index shows steady climb from around 52 point to finally reached around 21 point in 2008, after that the graph remain steady until the end of 2009.
Furthermore, Sugar and sweets have slight increment and several fluctuations because the graph always reached high peak and then remain steady and after that reached the bottom peak until it finally reached the highest point in 2009 (approximately 240 ). Carbonated drinks also began at 52 point and rose slightly until finally reached 150 point in 2009.
Overall, fresh fruits and vegetables takes the lead in the graph while, carbonated drinks are the lowest one.
