The line graph compares the average cost of houses in Sometown over the last six-month period in 2005. It can be clearly seen that houses on the market cost higher than the sold houses in the entire time.
In July 2005, houses' price on the market recorded 335,000 dollars, the most expensive in the whole period whereas, houses sold were amounting to 300,000 dollars. In the next month, the cost of houses on the market slightly decreased, in contrast houses sold had a minimal increase.
The only month when house prices plunged in both kinds was in September, when houses on the market amounted only to 320,000 dollars. and sold houses reached its lowest value at 290,000 dollars.
The three following months, showed a constantly rise and fall of prices in residences sold and on the market respectively. Sold houses became expensive at about 380,000 dollars while houses on the market's numbers ended up an amount of about 321,000 dollars in December.
