The line graph provides information about the amount of wages per week earned by graduate employees of different age groups in 2002.
Overall, young employees' earnings were the lowest for all three degrees. However it grew up as ages of workers were older and remained almost stable after 45-60, except those with higher degree, thus their salary increased at the pre-retirement age.
Young people at ages 21 to 25 with first degree and other qualifications got the lowest salary at about £350 and just above £400 respectively. The older the employers were the higher were their wages. The graduates with other qualifications earned the highest amount of money at above £800 at the age between 36 and 40, while for those with first degree the pick was at under £700. However earnings of employees older than 40 years old saw a downward trend for these particular degrees. Whilst other-qualification-graduates' income fell gradually, the salary of employees with the first degree remained approximately stable between ages 40 and 60. Pre-retirement aged people with first degree and other qualifications earned around £700.
Similarly, employees with postgraduate degree earned the least amount of many (about £400) at ages between 21 and 25 and it increased substantially at ages 31 to 45. Then it experienced a fall at ages between 45 and 55. However, in contrast with other two types of degree, it saw an upward trend at ages of 56-60 and reached pick at about £800.
