The provided graph gives information about the number of American aged people who spent their free hours in some entertainment from 1980 to 2010. Overall, most of the amount of the activities went up along the period, omitting watching television which steadily increased for 20 years subsequently decreased to the end.

In the 1980s, almost all of the activities were climbing in popularity. In contrast, only the percentage of going to the theatre experienced a downward slightly from 50 to 30. There were alterations in the 1990s, specifically on the reading hobby which encountered the opposite from the previous year where the percentage fell off from 40 to half of it. Not only reading but also for going to the theatre where it suddenly gained popularity from the number of 30% to 40%. Furthermore, in the 2000s, most of the entertainments gained attractions excluding for watching television where slowly had alighting from 70% to downwards.

In conclusion, hiking was steadily growing up over the years as well as surfing the internet where it then got rocketed from the 2000s to 2010s. Hence, visiting theatre and reading had fluctuation during the time.
