This bar chart provides the information about the academic staff male and female proportions across 7 different faculties in 2012.
It is clear that the male to female ratios are fluctuated according to the faculty type. Men percentage is dominated in 4 out of 7 faculties and in equal with ladies in only one field.
Looking at the information in more details, we found that the hard professions like engineering, science, law and business was selected by men more than women. For example, Business, law, science and engineering faculties need more than studying, they need training, practices and after graduations they can work all the day outdoor. Moreover, women responsibilities after graduation and marriage are more than it for men. In contrast, arts and education' jobs are more flexible for ladies, they can work it for only few hours per day outdoor and also, they can work it indoor. Medicine faculty has many departments, some of these is preferable for ladies as children and ladies diseases. As a consequence, the final percentage of this faculty is equal in two the staff genders.
