The graph shows the percentage of UK adolescent following a vegetarian diet
The diagram reveals the proportion of English lads who follow vegetarian die from 1960 to 2020.
It is obvious that more young people love a vegetarian diet in the past than in recent years. besides, there was a clear peak in 1980 and some peaks between 1990 and 2010
From 1960 to 1980, the number of people who followed a vegetarian diet increased gradually, the most were over 15 percent in 1980. After that, fewer and fewer adolescents tried keeping this diet and it decreased to approximately 4 percent in mere 1996. The percentage between 1990 and 2000 did not change too much and volatile.
However, it can be seen that many people liked to eat vegetarian again start from 2000. This situation gradually increases to 2010 and does not change so clearly then. Although the proportion of adolescents vegetarian has much decrease and do not be as good as in the past time, especially in 1990 it has some improvement and this proves that an average of UK teenagers now are conscious of vegetable and love eating vegetarian
