The both pie chart in combination depicts, the ratio of European city’s people travelling habit to office and back to home in 1959 and 2009.
Overall, as shown in pie charts, it is worth noticing that people travel faster in 2009 than 1959, additionally, more than 50% people prefer to walk in 1959, but, in 2009 significant percent of people travel by car.
To begin with, in the year 1959, 55% of people prefer to walk, but in 2009 only one quarter (25%) people travel by foot, which clearly denote that people are becoming lazy as they got facilities. While, between both years, another significant change was shown in car users, hence it increases by one quarter (25%) than 1959. However, the bus and train users do not have significant changes, while, the ratio of train users remains constant and bus users decrease from 15% to 13% than in 1959 to 2009. Besides this, others users have significant increases in this time interval, while, it was just 5% in 1959, but, increase by 12% in 2009.
