The graphs below show the numbers of male and female workers in 1975 and 1995 in several employment sectors of the republic of Freedonia.

Revealed in the bar charts are how many citizens of the Republic of Freedonia by genders per thousand worked in 6 different areas between 1975 and 1995.

At a single glance, at the beginning of the period, the number of males in the six given sectors was considerably higher than that of females, at the end of the year, the figure for female workers in communication, wholesale & retail trade area surpassed those of males.

In the preliminary year, both males and females preferred working in public sector (non-defence) and wholesale & retail trade, accounting for an average of 850 for males and 600 for females out of 1000 respectively. By contrast, public sector (defence) was the least popular job for citizens in the Republic of Freedonia, recording about 3 for men and around 210 for woman per thousand. As for manufacturing job, roughly 620 of males per thousand working in the area more than doubled that of females; in addition, the same trend could also be seen when comparing the finance/ banking area.

In 1995, it is worth noting that a reverse trend was highlighted in predilection of job choices for both genders, with the number of females in communications sector increasing to about 550 per thousand and overtaking that of males with 300 out of 1000. Similarly, the figure for females in wholesale & retail trade also grew by around 250 per thousand and exceeded that of males. A dramatic difference could not be witnessed in the rest of sectors in 1995.
