The line graph illustrates the profits of three kind of exports from South East Asia between 1970 and 1995, while the pie charts give information about four sector that producing money for South East Asia in 1970 and 1995.
In 1979, other raw materials were the highest exports that make profit from South East Asia, which stood at 30 millions of US dollar, and then followed by manufactured products (about 22 millions of US dollar) and timber (just under 15 millions of US dollar). Between 1979 and 1975, there was a considerably increase in the amount of manufactured products selling before it levelled off. Although there was a gradually rising from 1980 to 1985, it dropped to the same level as in 1980 (roughly 35 millions of US dollars). Finally, it went up at the end of the period given, which was around 37 millions of US dollar.
Other raw materials and timber have similar trends. There was a rising profit in the number of other raw materials selling from 30 to around 35 between 1970 and 1975. However, the products decreased gradually from 1975 yon1995 and reached their lowest point at just around 20 millions of US dollar. In addition, between 1970 and 1985, the product of timber went up considerably and reached its highest point at roughly 26 millions of US dollar. Similar to previous product I mentioned, this product went down and dropped to just around 5 millions of US dollar.
Next to the pie charts. In 1970, domestic sector had the largest proportion of revenue for South East Asia, which was 33%, and followed by exports (29%), tourism (27%) and other sector (11%), while in 1995, tourism sector was the highest proportion than any other sector, which was almost half of total revenue.
To sum up, there was a correlation between selling products overseas and revenue for South East Asia between 1970 and 1995. Selling other raw materials increased the revenue from domestic sector and in 1995, manufactured products were the most popular by increasing number of tourist.
