The bar charts illustrate three types of music albums: pop, rock, and classical, which were bought by British people based on gender and age category.
As the charts outline, male candidates had outnumbered in purchasing all given types of genres. Among those, the older generation passionated significantly towards classical music compared to the rest two varieties.
British nationals spent an equal amount of purchasing of both types of music: pop and rock. Over 30% of aged 25 to 34 years of people purchased pop-music, which was slightly higher than younger, around five percent higher than that of aged 35 to 44, one-fourth of older adults. Overall, approximately 30% of males spent on pop music, whereas around 20% of the females. Similarly, in terms of rock music, the British younger generation contributed 30% revenue to buy rock music, which was closely increased on 25 to 34 years of aged people. However, this figure gradually dropped on 35 to 44 aged citizens (25%), a dramatic decline in old nationals (10%). Same as pop music, rock music lovers were more from males 30% and fewer females 16%.
However, concerning classical music, a significant proportion of elder generation (20%) purchased classical music, but this trend extremely weak in 35 to 44 aged members and youngsters, with a figure less than 5% and interestingly a noticeable growth can be seen in aged 25 to 34 aged people and 16% youth purchased traditional music. Like the other two, more males interested to purchase classical genre, 9%, and it was around 2% higher than its counterparts.
