there are some different data changes in England and Wales from 1918 to 2011. households in owned accommodation tend to decline, in 2011 it has been increased. households in rented accommodation are always increased. they have some differences in the economy or other factors. I will analyze this reason in the following paragraphs.
The households owned are occupied about 23 percent and households in rented accommodation are about 77 percent. there are far more renters than homeowners. 1971 was a dividing line, with an increase in homeownership and a decrease in rental housing. they are the same amount in 1971. The owned accommodation is continuing to increase from 1970 to 2011 and the households in rented accommodation persistent decline, even though they're have a bit fluctuation.
To sum up, it means when a certain person has money and he will buy a house. when it is increasing in households in owned accommodation, it means the economy is raising.
