The diagram illustrates the cyclical process of recycling plastic bottles. The flow of process consists of 9 steps including disposing, filtering, crushing, forming raw material and producing new commodities.
At first, the cycle starts with the disposal of garbages into the trash bin. All the trashes are then collected in the truck and brought to the recycling unit. The plastic garbages are filtered where the recyclable ones will be used. In addition, these bottles are gathered and later made compact in the form of cubes. After compressing, the next step will be crumbling the blocks using a grinding machine. The pieces of plastic which are produced then go into the washing process.
Moreover, the clean plastic crumbles are poured into a special machine to generate smaller plastic particles. The heating process comes after this step with the aim of creating the raw material. Having the raw material done, in the end, it is transformed into final products such as recycled bottles, bags, pencils, and any other possible commodity.
