The line charts show the amount of beer sold to pubs and supermarkets over six years, where a bar graph displays the amount of pubs closed over the same period.
Summarise the data by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The graph compares the number of beers selling in the UK in pubs and the supermarket from 2000 to 2016, while the bar chart shows the number of the pubs working in the UK at the same period. Overall, the selling statistics for the pubs decreased, while it increased for the supermarkets. Meanwhile, number of the pubs declined over this period. The following paragraph are going to explain the major features in detail. At the first glace to the graph, initial amount of beer sell in the pubs was a bit below 25000, whereas share of the supermarket was a mere near 20000. However, in 2014, they both reach the same amount of sell, and then the supermarkets outstripped the pubs in sold beers number so that the difference between the latter and the former reach 1000 in 2016.
On the other hand, number of the pubs working in 2000 was 60000, then the number started to decrease gradually, and in 2010 reached 55000. At last, the trend continued and dropped to 5000 in 2016. Finally, it is inferred that dropping in number of pubs and their share of sold beers existed, whereas there was significant increase in share of beer sell for the supermarket in whole period.`
