The line graph above illustrates the number of car thefts in Great Britain and three other countries namely Sweden, France and Canada during the period of 1990 and 1999

The line graph above illustrates the number of car thefts in Great Britain and three other countries namely Sweden, France and Canada during the period of 1990 and 1999. Overall, the amount of cars being stolen in Canada changed dramatically over the years; meanwhile, the figure for Sweden, France and Great Britain showed a small degree of fluctuation from the year of 1990 to 1999.

Starting with more than 17 robberies per car in 1990, Great Britain's car theft count slightly inclined for the next two years until 1993, plummeted to 15 and then slightly increased again
1994 before its dramatic fall in 1997.

However, Canada and Sweden’s car-jacking numbers with slightly low starting points of 7 and 9 respectively experienced a small reduction followed up with many years of stability to the year of 1999. Unlike these two countries, the thefts of cars in France showed an upward trend from 1990 to 1994 and then soared in the years of 1996 before reaching its peak in 1999
