The line graph illustrates how much fast food like pizza, hamburger, fish and chips were eaten by Australian adolescents from year 1975 till 2000.
Overall, it is clear from the graph that most popular fast food eaten by teenagers was hamburger, while pizza was second most consumed food per year. In 1985 and 1995 fast foods like hamburger and pizza were at same level of ingestion respectively. However, it was noted that fish and chips from the beginning of the period were highly consumed item that varied in its trend later on.
On the one hand, a significantly increasing trend in consumption of hamburger was observed from 1975 (about 10 times per year) rising to around 85 times per year in 1985. Furthermore, a gradual increase was noted from 1985 to 2000 reaching it to 100 times per year. Additionally, pizza showed a gradual steady rise in being eaten starting from about 7 times per year (1975) then reaching to around 85 times per year (1995). A plateau was seen from 1995 till year 2000 letting the feeding remain at same level.
On the other hand, fish and chips were highly eaten product in 1975 at 100 and then showed a decline of approximately 82 times per year in 1980. Moreover, arise was observed for a period of 5 years from 1980-1985 consuming it slightly below 100 times per year. Then there was a steep fall from 1985 till 2000 ending it at 40 times per year.
