The most striking feature to be observed is that, there was a significant fluctuation trend over the given time frame, whilst value of company share maintained the almost same point compared to the starting point.
Looking the data in more detail, it is clear that share rate of Outokumpu companies was around 13 euros in 2006. In the following year, the price figure remarkably escalated and hit a peak of about 32 euros. Despite a downward trend until the early of 2008, it climbed dramatically to reach the second highest point of almost 30 euros.
However, afterwards the company went through a period in which its share price was much lower than in the previous years. The figure suddenly plunged to a low of only 7 euros per share at the end of 2008. After a small recovery, several volatilities were witnessed and at the end of 2009, investors could buy the company’s share with approximately 12 euros per share.
