Overall, the recycling rates of the Uk and France showed a steady but significant rise over the period, while the percentage of recycled waste in france experienced a downward trend.
With regards to the percentage of recycling rates in Germany, it begins at around 20% in 2005 and then increased sharply throughout the period, exceeding france's rate in 2009 and reaching almost 60% in the end of the period. Likewise, approximately 35% of waste were recycled at UK in the starting year and in the final year it peaked up to 60% respectively.
In the early 2005, the recycling rate of france was 50% which is the highest among there three countries.However, it dramatically decreased to 30% in 2013. Then, there was a growth of 10% in the final year, but according to the figure the recycling rates of france was approximately lowest.
