Overall, CD usage in the UK was constant all over the period. At the end of the period, the highest percentage of the usage of the modern technological device was Computer and the lowest was DVD.
In 1997, the highest percentage of DVD used that was about 60%. In addition, the lowest percentage was the internet that was around 10%. DVD fell before rising steeply to reach a peak of 80%. In 1998, from then on, however, it decreased steadily to a level of about 10% in 2001. Computer and Mobile phone was gradually increased all over the period and in 2000 the computer outraced the mobile phone. In the additional, end of the period, the percentage of computer and mobile phone used was respectively about 81% and 79%. All over the period, the internet was steadily increased at the end of the period that was about 30%. In 1999, the users of the internet and mobile phone were consistent that was about 30%. After 1998, the usage of DVD was gradually decreased at the end of the period the percentage was 10% that was the lowest percentage in 2001.
