The line graph compares the number of viewers per day of the channel one news from January to December on one year. From a general perspective, different trends in the number of viewers could be observed, including a growth of 11pm news, a stability of 1pm news and a reduction of 6pm, and 9:30pm news.
In January, the 6pm news had the highest quantity of viewers per day at nearly 5 million viewers, followed by the 9:30pm and 1pm news. From January to August, there was a 11pm news that was introduced on 1st May then reached a peak of 4 million viewers in August, significantly surpassing the other news in the number of viewers, while the 6pm news and 9:30pm news suffered a huge decline, in which not many people chose to watch 9:30pm news.
During the next four months, the 11pm news plummeted by 3 million viewers and were less than others. Similarly, there was a slight increase in the number of viewers on 6pm news but after that this figure diminished gradually to over 3 million viewers. On the other hand, people watched 9:30pm news, which witnessed a considerable rise to 3 million viewers. Meanwhile, The 1pm news remained stable at 1.3 million viewers over twelve months.
