The tourist visited the UK expanded from 10 million in the year of 1970 to almost 30 million in the year of 1999. Meanwhile, The quantity of the UK citizens who visited overseas countries gradually raised from 12 million in 1970 to 20 million in 1985 and boomed to more than 50 million in the year of 1999.
Turning to the bar chart, it is obvious that France was the most poplar destination for British visitors, which attracted more than 10 million British residents in the year of 1999. The second attractive foreign country was Spain, which appealed almost 10 million British tourists. By contrast, Turkey was less popular than Greece and the USA, which merely visited by 4 million British tourists.
