The supplied line graph illustrates amount of stolen vehicles, counted in thefts per thousands vehicles in Great Britain, Sweden, France and Canada over the period of nine years, from 1990 to 1999. It could be noticed that all countries presented downward trend over 9 years, while it can be clearly seen that Sweden showed opposite upward tendency. At the onset, Great Britain has the highest figure of stolen cars than any other country.
As shown in the graph, thefts in Britain had stolen the most vehicles in comparison to other countries. In 1992 and 1996 number of theft cars have been peaking in UK to almost twenty thefts per thousand cars. However, as France and Canada, UK ended up with lower number of stolen cars, when in 1990 was about 18 thefts per 1000 cars, in 1999 number of stolen cars dropped to nearly 16.5 thefts per 1000 vehicles.
Getting back to the details, France and Canada had similar oscillated effect of about 8 and 7 thefts per thousand cars at the beginning of the period, when finished together close to 6 thefts per 1000 motor vehicles.
From the other hand, number of theft cars in Sweden, sharply rose from 8 in 1990 to nearly 15 in 1999. Difference between France and Canada was at the end of nine years period about 9 stolen cars per thousand.
