The maps below shoe the center of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
The maps illustrate the differences between the development plan and the current condition of a town called Islip.
Overall, the plan shows that there will be more buildings built and a dual carriageway will be constructed.
The first change is the appearance of a two-lane road running around the town center, which makes it easier for transporting in and out the downtown. Then, the main road in the middle of Islip will be replaced with a pedestrian street only. In the center of Islip, the shopping area in the north is planned to be demolished to make way for several constructions namely bus station, shopping center, car park, as well as a noticeable addition of new houses in the most north. Households in the south of the center will be constructed to become larger, which results in the narrow down condition of the only park in Islip.
However, the school and houses situated outside the center will remain unchanged.
