The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now and plans for its development.
Maps depict for the current and future Islip town center.
Overall, it's clear from the maps that the dual carriageway will be replaced by the main road and let the main road serve as a pedestrian-only path around the mall.
In the current map, the town center is developed around a main road, stretching from the west to the east. There are many stores in the north and south of the road. Most of the south is a resident and a park in the east and a school in the Southwest. Both structures are connected to the main road on the side of the road.
In the future map, a circle around the city center and this road is expected to be built as a double route. The middle part of the main road is expected to be pedestrian. In the north, the store in this section will be demolished and a shopping center and housing area will be built. A bus stop will be expected to be built in the west and a parking lot in the east. Although the southern part of Islip did not see major changes other than some new houses
