The maps show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now and plans for its development.
The given maps demonstrate some major changes to a small town called Islip. Overall, the town center will develop into a more modernized and residential location as the countryside size will be reduced dramatically.
One of the town significant renovations will be the structure of the main road, as it will become a dual carriageway circulating the town center instead of the straight main road. Also, one of the lines of shops facing each other across the main road will be demolished to make room for other facilities in the town center. In the northern part of the center, a new bus station, a shopping center, as well as a car park, will be built facing a separated road only for pedestrians, which will be in front of the remaining line of shops. In the southeast of the center, there is a park, which will be kept but cut in size within the circle. The school in the southwest will be in the same place just outside the town center. In addition, there would be 2 new housing areas built in the town center circle instead of only 2 now.
