For the past year you have been a member of a local club. Now you want to discontinue your membership. Write a letter to the club secretary. In your letter state what type of membership you have and how you have paid for this., give details of how you have benefited from the club and explain why you want to leave.
Dear Mr. SureshSir,
I am Pratik Patel member of the Prayas swimming club, writing this letter to let you know about my unwillingness to continue my swimming membership further.
As I mentioned above, I joined your club last year to learn swimming. One of my friend suggested your club as he had really good experience with your club. So I paid membership fee in cash and joined 6.00am morning batch. Swimming instructions and techniques taught by club's trainers helped me a lot. Also I got tremendous support and guidance from your club. With the help from club's swimming instructors, I learned swimming in a month and now it is helping me a lot to keep my body fit and fine.
However, I feel really bad to inform you that I can not continue my membership further because I am moving abroad for further studies. I hope you understand my reason and help me to discontinue my club membership.
Looking forward for your positive reply.
Yours faithfully,
Pratik Shah
