In the years from 1961 to 1971, it has a dramatic change in the percentage of car possession. In 1961, the people who had no car were about 70%, it decreased steeply in the next 10 years, and in 1971, it was approximately 38%. while the percentage of car ownership of 1 car and 2+ cars growed quickly and reached respectively 38% and 30% in 1971.
Between 1971 and 2001, it continued to change. The percentage of people who had no car went down sharply to 10% in 2001. There was an upturn in the percentage of 1 car ownership, while in 2+ cars possession it had a moderate climb and reached 48% at the end of this period.
