The pictures below show the process of making clothes from recycled plastic bottles.
The pictures illustrate the process of transforming recycled plastic bottles into clothes.
Overall, there are a total of thirteen steps involved in the process, which can be divided into two phases. The first phase is sorting and shredding plastic bottles into chunks and the second phase is to create clothing from rolls of plastic fabric.
In the first phase, plastic bottles are collected and transported to factories by trucks. Inside the factories, plastic bottles are sorted before being cut into small pieces by a shredder. Following this, plastic pieces are put inside a gadget for washing and sanitizing. After being cleaned, plastic particles are dried under the sunlight for ten hours before being melted inside a boiler.
In the second phase, after being melted into liquid, the substance is strained into yarn. Once this step is completed, the yarn is put inside an electrical loom to weave into fabric. Finally, clothes are produced using these plastic fabric rolls.
