The pictures illustrate how the layout of a school library changed over five years.
The picture given depicts the modernization of the layout of a library over a period of 5 years.
It is evident from the picture that the library has undergone some noticeable transformations, with the most typical one is the introductions of more studying tables. Additionally, some amenities have been erected.
5 years ago, in the middle of the library was studying tables, which were flanked by book shelves to the top and those to the bottom. At the same time, a desk for computers and a library office were situated in the top-right and bottom-right corners respectively. Meanwhile, in the bottom-left area, there was a meeting room adjacent to a classroom to the top and a borrowing and returning desk to the bottom.
Up to now, whereas more private studying tables have been constructed in the middle of the library, the book shelves located in the bottom area 5 years ago have been converted into desks for students’ laptops. Likewise, a conference room has been built in the position where the library office used to be, accompanied by the substitution of desks for students’ laptops for the desk for computers. By contrast, the locations of the meeting room and the book shelves in the top area have not experienced any change, compared to the construction of a recording studio next to the meeting room to the top. In addition, the borrowing and returning desk has been splited into 2 separate parts called borrowing and returning.
