pie chart

The given pie charts compare the proportion of visitors from different nations to Australia and Germany from 1960 to 2010.
Overall, it is clearly seen that while most of the travelers to Germany were Europeans, there were significant changes in the rate of tourists to Australia.
A closer look at the statistics reveals that in 1960, irrespective of locations, the proportion for European holiday-makers was the highest, far exceeding the following figure. It is striking that the proportion of Europeans visitors to Australia was higher than its counterpart by a small margin with the disparity of 8 percent. Both countries shared considerable similarities with the rate of travelers from Asia being precisely 10 percent each, making it the lowest position.
However, in subsequent 50 years, while there was a dramatical decline in the rate of Europeans visiting Australia from 53 to 10 percent, this nation witnesses a rocket in the number of Asian visitors to 63 percent, occupying the highest level. However, in Germany, despite a small reduction by 5 percent, European holiday-makers still remained top-charted. It is also noticed that whereas American and Asian tourists to this country followed upward trends, there was a drop by 14 percent in the proportion of British visitors.
