The pie charts illustrates the different decisions between students who graduated with a bachelor's degree and those left school with PHD certificate in British in 2018
Overall,two pie charts shows that bachelor's students outnumbered PHD ones in full-time employment and combination of study and work, an opposite pattern was observed in further study and work abroad. Students leaving university with bachelor's degree experienced unemployment, however, no one with PHD certificate was the unemployed.
In 2008, bachelor's British students becoming full-time employment accounted for 45%, the percentage of full time workers reached almost tripple in comparison to PHD ones. One in ten students with bachelor's certificate prefered the combining study with work, while the proportions of counterparts with PHD degree comprised 5%
By contrast, after leaving school, a higher proportions of students with PHD degree opted studying in advance more than those gained a bachelor's diploma, with 56% and 25% respectively. In addition, a quater of working abroad came from PHD students, being higher than bachelor's counterparts. One in ten bachelor's students went through unemployment, on the other hand, all postgraduates had their career
