The given chart provides information about producing energy by five different types in France between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it is clear that while the percentage of Coal, Gas, Nuclear, and other energy increased gradually, the opposite was true for Petrol energy. Also, Coal energy was the largest number and other energy was the lowest during the period.
In 1995, the percentage of Coal energy was the highest at 29,80%, compared to 29,63% of Gas energy which the second largest energy of production. Petrol energy accounted for 29,27% as opposed to 6,40% and 4,90% of Nuclear and Other energy respectively.
In the following 10 years, in 2005, the rate of Coal energy rose slightly to 30,93%, Gas energy increased steadily 30,31%. While the figure for Other and Nuclear energy increased by approximately 5% at around 9,10% and 10,10% respectively compared to in 1995. However, Petrol energy decreased rapidly around 10% during the period.
