The pie charts below show the online shopping sales for retail sectors in New Zealand in 2003 and 2013
The pie charts compare the sales of online shopping for different categories between 2003 and 2013, a period of 10 years.
It could be seen that travel sector occupied the highest percentage about 36% in 2003 but this figure decreased slightly to 29% in 2013. There was a remarkable increase in the online sales of film and music category from 21% in 2003 to exact 33% which is the highest proportion in 2013.
In term of clothes sector, nearly a quarter about 24% was take into account in 2003, however this data dip to 16% in the next decade. In contrast with clothes sector, the proportion of books sold stood at 19% in 2003 and increase slightly to 22% in 2013.
Overall, there are several noticeable changes in the sale proportions of four different categories with music and travel sector occupied more than half of the pie during this 10 year period.
