The two pie charts show information about the rate of housing owned and rented in the UK in 20 years.
Overall, private houses owned is the highest percentage than the other. There are 2 categories that is increased in between 20 years, they are private owned and social housing. In other side, the trend of council rented is down and private rented is steady.
Based on the data in the graph, we can see that the number of private homes grow up from about 60% in 1985 and 65% in 2005. The trend is same with social housing, it rises approximately 3 times from 3% to 10% in 2005. The council rented goes down about 2 times from 25% in 1985 to 12% in 2005. The rate of private rented houses is not shaking, it is about 12% in both years. However, the amount of homes in the UK is increase 5 million for 20 years.
