The change in owned and rented house in Great Britain based on four categories from 1991 to 2007 is displayed in the pie charts, shown in percentage.
Overall, the rate of house ownership was the largest. However, it experienced an uplift trend, followed by the total of homes also, and other categories showed some changes.
Initially, there were 22 million homes in the UK, with vast majority owning those, at three fifths. When it came to renting purposes, the proportion of social aim was almost a quarter, being higher than that of private one. Meanwhile, that of social housing was observed to be around one in two.
Eventually, Britain saw houses an incline totally to 27 million, and the rate of home owners witnessed a growth to mostly three quarters. Turning to the those for renting, that of the private one remained stable, while that of social one declined to under a fifth. This contrasted to those growing, housing for social percentage decreased to only 2%, being the minimum data recorded.
