The pie charts give information regarding the proportion of water consumption utilized in three various sectors in six areas of the world.

As figures show, the most water usage is related to the agricultural purposes in majority of areas. However, Europe and North America are exceptions and dedicate their water consumption broadly for industrial usage. Interestingly, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia, and South America have dramatically corresponding proportion in agricultural part, and then industrial and domestic sectors play less roles on pie charts splitting unevenly in these four areas. It is obvious that Europe and North America have roughly similar figures in terms of dedicating water to agricultural and domestic use.

To sum up, water consumption in Europe and North America are distributed more equally among different sectors while other areas use water generally for agricultural purposes. However, the main role of water for North America and Europe is in industrial part.
