According to the given date, North America and Europe were the two regions used the largest proportion of water for manufactured functions which was 48% and 53% respectively. Besides the industrialization, both regions still spent over one-third of the total amount of water to agriculture with exactly 32% in Europe and 39% for the other. Finally, typical use just accounts for 13% and 15% in the structure of water consumption in North America and Europe respectively.
On the other hand, in the rest 4 areas consist of South America, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia, Agriculture was dominant in term of water used when it drain at least 71% of total water in South America and even rose to 88% in Central Asia. And clearly, less than 10% of water was used for both industrial and domestic purposes, except South East Asia with 12% for industries and South America with nearly 20% for private purposes.
