The pie charts compare the proportion of carbohydrates, protein and fat in three different diets,
namely an average diet, a healthy diet, and a healthy diet for sport.
The pie graphs below compare the percentages of carbohydrates, protein, and fat in three different types of diet.
Overall, a healthy diet for sport contains the highest proportion of carbohydrates. By contrast, an average diet tends to have the largest rate of protein inside it.
Looking into the first chart, the number of carbohydrates accounted for 40% in a meal. While this figure makes up half, in a healthy diet, and is higher than the average diet 10%, the rate of carbohydrates occupied two-thirds in the healthy meal for sportspeople.
The number of protein, in the average diet, accounted for the same figure of carbohydrates and doubles the rate of fat (20%). While protein’s percentage, in the healthy diet, lower 10% than this rate in the average diet, the fat’s proportion stays the same number. In the healthy diet for athletic, both protein and fat’s rate, which make up 25% and 15% respectively, are cut back 5% compare with these figures in the healthy diet.
