The pie chart illustrates the comparison of the food habits of China and India with the average of the world in the year 2008.
In the three charts, the value of the processes of food and vegetables and fruits are showing a similar percentage. In contrast, animal food and nuts and seeds have significantly different values.
In India, 39% and in China, 34% of the population eats processed food, which is at a difference of 2% and 5% of the average world consumption. Vegetables and fruits eaten by Indian's are 23%, which is 6% less than the average, and the Chinese
population takes 3% more than the world average.
Animal Food consumption is approximately equal in India and World charts i.e., 27% and 26%, but Chinese people take only 15% i.e., 9% below the average. At last, The Indian and Chinese eats Nuts by a share of 11% and 19%, respectively, which is more than triple the world average.
