The pie charts illustrate the details of people using the library for five different purposes in Britain in two years. Units are measured in percentage.
Overall, it is evident that the overwhelming majority of people visit the library to borrow or return books in both years. Additionally, there was a significant increase in the number of visitors in 2000 from 290 million to 350 million compared to 1991.
Britain citizens who visited the library to borrow or return a book comprised 65% of total visitors in 1991 which reduced to 55% by 2000. Conversely, compared to 1991 visitors who obtain information from the library doubled to 2000 by 20%.
Regarding the library used for the study, newspaper, and magazine reading also declined from 1991 to 2000 with 2% and 5% respectively. Furthermore, in 2001 there are 18% of people visited the Britain library to borrow or return videos which was not been in 1991.
