The given pie charts compare the energy production of 5 general energy resources in America between 1995 and 2005. In general, most of the energies shows the identical developing trend with higher share with an exception of petroleum that showed a downward trend within the 10-year interval.
It can be clearly seen that coal, gas and petroleum were three fundamental and most common fuel which shared equally energy market in 1995. Looking first of all at coal, it increased slightly in 2005 to approximately 30,93% compared to 1995’s was nearly 30%. Similarly, the gasoline use in the U.S. witnessed the same trend, which rose marginally (around 1%) after 10 years. Production and consumption of other energy categories have been surging considerably which noticed the exhaustion of petroleum. Actually, nuclear and other potential energies shares rose remarkably 3.5% and 5.2% respectively. On the other hand, compared to 1995’s, the proportion of exploiting petroleum declined noticeably from nearly 30% to under 20%.
