As an overall trend, it is clear that boys prefer computer games and outdoor sports while girls enjoy dancing and reading.
According to the first graph, the largest amount of young man ‘s time goes into computer games, which is 34%. Surprisingly, nearly the same amount, which is 26%, is spend on playing basketball. Moreover, one-fifth and one-tenth the amount of time belongs to soccer and skateboarding, respectively. The reading habit among them is very poor which accounts for only 2% in total. Impressively, listening to music is an activity which makes up equally percentage (10%) of boys and girls.
In terms of girls’ activities, computer games are not the most favorite pursuit of them as boys. As a result, this one account for 16%. The amount of dancing time stands at the first rank, which is 27%, followed by reading, which is one-fifth in total. Regarding outdoor hobbies, gymnastics and netball take about one-tenth the amount of time of girls to play.
