There comes a point where it is infinitely preferable to accept the bitter reality. In other words, it is not invariably possible to turn a negative situation into positive due to certain limitations and the absence of room for improvement. For instance, there is little that can be done for poorer nations around the world because of their economic stagnation and limited sources of income. However, prolonged exposure to traumatic conditions may frustrate the affected, therefore, motivating them to strive for excellence is absolutely necessary.
Every human in this world goes through a difficult patch at some point in their life. While it is commonly believed that the acceptance of unwanted circumstances is pragmatic, others hold the view that striving for the betterment is always a preferable alternative. I consider that long-term acceptance of something challenging in life and not thriving for progression is absolutely detrimental for individuals.
There is no doubt that investing efforts to progress and improvise life has several perks. Firstly, it makes the people will power stronger and provides them a sense of purpose particularly youngsters, who are far more vulnerable to face negative situations such as bullying, limited financial resources, work pressure, job instability. If we take a look at biographies of top leaders of the world, fascinatingly, all of them have had experienced failures but they managed to succeed and excelled through hard work and perseverance. In addition, having a pool of people who aspire to work toward betterment benefits the economy and their efforts are reflected in the overall progress of the country.
To conclude, having a progressive mindset, even if there are bleak chances of success, is tremendously important for the individual as well as economical growth. A society in which everyone was optimistic would certainly be healthier, more prosperous and more peaceful.
